YES! The PoshMallow is certified by the Capitol K - Vaad HaRabanim of Greater Washington. We use only Kosher-certified ingredients, and all products are made by our observant, Modern Orthodox owner, in a Kosher kitchen, using dedicated Pareve (non-dairy/non-meat) supplies and cookware.

What does "Allergen-Friendly" really mean?
We believe that dessert should only induce joy - never stress!
That's why our marshmallows are completely free of nearly all top allergens: dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, shellfish, wheat, gluten, and sesame. As of right now, they DO contain FISH (tilapia). A select few contain soy - and if they do, we always note it in their description.
To limit cross contamination, we work in a non-shared kitchen dedicated to making our products. We make every effort to use ingredients that are clear of allergens. However, sometimes we do use an ingredient that states it was made in a facility that also makes foods containing top allergens.
Our family has some pretty severe food allergies - so we know the worries of cross-contamination. It's actually one of the reasons we created The PoshMallow! Don't hesitate to reach out for further clarification at: theposhmallow@gmail.com.
What are artificial-dyes, and why won't you use them?
At The PoshMallow, we aim to create treats with the fewest possible ingredients - ones that you'll recognize as real foods. In fact, most of our mallows have absolutely no coloring added at all! To enhance the experience of certain PoshMallow flavors, we sometimes use a naturally-sourced food coloring, made from fruits and vegetables.
Artificial dyes (such as Blue 1, Blue 2, Red 3, Red 40, Yellow 5, & Yellow 6), are made from synthetic chemicals, and we do not use them.
Do you deliver locally? Do you ship?
Delivery is free in Kemp Mill, MD. Special delivery days may be offered to Rockville, Potomac, or Bethesda, please contact us for more information. Unless otherwise instructed, we will leave your purchase in your mailbox or on your door-handle if no-one is home at the time of delivery.
The PoshMallow ships via UPS Ground:
- Free shipping for purchases of $75 and over.
- $15 flat fee for orders of $10-$74.99.
How long do they keep?
PoshMallows keep longer than they last (unless you hide them from yourself)!
In an airtight container, PoshMallows keep about 4 weeks at room temperature, 2-3 weeks for optimum freshness. You can also pop them in the freezer to give yourself more time - just fully defrost to room temperature before enjoying!
